Camp Hawthorn Hollow
At Hawthorn Hollow, our goal is to offer personal growth opportunities to our campers through outdoor adventure programming. We place high emphasis on offering individual decision-making and leadership opportunities as well as exciting recreational programming. Hawthorn Hollow staff acts as supportive guides as girls plan their own program schedules. A summer at Hawthorn Hollow provides staff with many of their own positive growth experiences. Staff members come from around the U.S. as well as overseas.
The property and facilities at Hawthorn Hollow are geared toward cooperative learning, teamwork, and building life skills for the girls of today and young leaders of tomorrow. Campers and staff live in modern dormitory style lodges or smaller semi-private village cabins. Surrounded by forests and fields, there are several buildings that are used for programs and a activity center, as well as a group initiatives course, a 50-foot climbing tower, 50-foot high ropes course with zip lines, horse riding arena, and a swimming pool.
