Camp Io-Dis-E-Ca began in 1963 with weekend retreats and has grown into a camp and retreat center offering children’s summer camp programs such as Horse Camp, Adventure Camp, Wilderness Camp, Sports Camp, mini-camps for the young children, as well as year-round retreats.  In addition to overnight programs, the camp  offers a summer Day Camp for the children in the local vicinity to provide a safe, nurturing environment for them while their parents are at work. The camp also hosts family reunions and groups such as local colleges and universities, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, 4H, high school bands and choirs, scrap bookers, and school outdoor education groups.
