Are you the next Sarah Silverman or Jim Gaffigan? Take a break from the mosquitoes and the kumbayas, and spend 2 weeks at Gotham Comedy Club in Manhattan, learning about improv, comic acting, and stand-up comedy! Each camp culminates in a graduation show live on stage at Gotham Comedy Club. We promise not to make you paddle any canoes. Scout’s honor.
End result: your own personal stand-up comedy routine. Taught by stand-up comics, comedy writers, improv performers, actors and teachers . The last class of On-Camera Auditioning will be attended by a casting agent from one of the major television networks to see the kids and critique their reading. Last class - stand-up and improv performance for family and friends.
Kids will develop and write their own personal Stand-Up routine and learn improv. They will learn acting and on-camera auditioning techniques for sitcoms and commercials.
