Camp L.Y.F.E. (Love Yourself For Everything) is more than an obesity/weight camp, it is designed to be an interactive, supportive experience for all youth.  Youth ages 11-15 will  participate in the camp for one week where they will be immersed in a life changing behavior experience.  Camp L.Y.F.E. focuses on changing health behaviors and informing youth of consequence.  Various topics related to obesity and daily life are addressed. Throughout the experience campers will participate in workshops, group activities, field trips and supportive talk sessions that provide information about healthy diets and nutrition, increased physcial activity, address issues related to culture and diversity and improve overall  self esteem.  Campers will receive further information on obesity related diseases.  Individual counseling is offered for campers related to various issues addressed throughout the Camp L.Y.F.E. experience. Follow-up counseling is available.
