Camp Pelican was founded with the goal of providing a safe, fun and caring environment for every camper. After 40 years of camping, our philosophy remains the same. A summer camp where happy memories last all year long. The camp opened in 1965 with the Hellwig family as its owners/directors. A second generation has continued that tradition of family pride and hands-on management. We have never forgotten that each camper becomes a part of our extended family. It assures that each camper feels safe, welcome and treated as an individual.
