Camp Tecumseh YMCA
A popular part of each day is "cabin time", those special periods when each cabin group and their counselors plan their own activities. They may hike to ghost Creek, ride horses, tackle the Optimist Challenge Course or any of a hundred new adventures. Camp is warm summer days filled with friendships, fun, and character development. After dinner, campers still have lots to do. Campfire ceremonies, carnivals, maybe an overnight campout at a special spot in the forest! Teens especially enjoy the teen discussion sessions, canoe float trips, and the Skywalker High Ropes Course! Plus Tecumseh has turned such popular activities as Survivor and the Amazing Race into positive challenges for cabin groups to communicate, cooperate and appreciate each person's effort and contribution to the group's success!
