Cardigan Mountain School Summer Session
Cardigan Summer Session 2011
June 25 to August 3, 2011
Cardigan’s Summer Session is a unique program for boys and girls in grades three through nine. In six weeks, students improve their academic and athletic skills, develop friendships, and enjoy New Hampshire’s beautiful outdoors. Most importantly, they come away with renewed faith in themselves and the satisfaction of having stretched themselves by trying new things. Cardigan welcomes students from across the U.S. and all over the world. Some families choose Summer Session for the classroom experience which reinforces their child’s skills in areas like math, English, and study skills. Others enjoy enrichment courses in the arts, science, and foreign language. In addition, many students participate in Cougar Clinics—athletic clinics designed to improve sports skills. A majority of students choose a combination of all these options. During the afternoon, students take full advantage of Cardigan’s beautiful 500-acre lakeside campus, with waterfront options, recreational sports, and art activities. Evenings offer campfires, dormitory initiatives, guest performers, and campus wide competitions. For more information, contact Matt Rinkin at mrinkin@cardigan.org.
