For over 30 years, Sasha and Judy Bunchuk and Rita Saladucha have been hands-on owners/directors of Champion Day Camp.  More, recently Jamie (Bunchuk) and Greg Pinkham have joined the family business and continue on with the ultimate goal to give kids their best summers every.  The Champion programs are constantly being re-evaluated and updated to ensure that every Champion camper is able to participate in relevant and productive camping experiences.  There are no ordinary days here for anyone.  Through a year round all day every day approach, Champion produces a complete and diverse age appropriate camp experience for every camper ages 3 to 15.

Stroll through the front gates and you will see our huge colorful tents, our signature bright blue buildings, gorgeous green fields, shaded areas to cool down in, covered pavilions, performing arts stage area and much much more.  Located in the center of Champion’s gorgeous facility is our 52 foot Humongous Alpine Tower.  If you haven’t seen the tower before, the structure will put you in awe.  There are many great skills to be learned from this totally unique High Ropes and Adventure Course.  Teamwork, trust, cooperation, communication, physical fitness and climbing skills training are just a few of the benefits that the campers will be getting from the Tower Program.  Our campers receive a special t-shirt when they complete different skills on the tower.  The back of the t-shirt boasts “I DID IT” for everyone to see.

The Kiddie Corral Nursery Area is perfect for the little ones.  Fenced in and shaded the nursery has a great time all day, every day.  A shallow water Kiddie Pool complete with a water slide is the best spot for the little ones to cool down and relax.  A special playground area with ladders, slides, tubes, tunnels, sand adventure, special outdoor games and more gives the kids a great area to experience play with their camp friends. 

Across our property you will find three heated swimming pools with giant water slides, tennis courts, pickle ball courts, basketball courts, skateboard park, 18 hole mini golf, Various ropes courses, climbing wall, GaGa courts, dodge Ball court, baseball fields, soccer fields, street hockey rink, wiffle ball fields, open grass areas, batting cages, gymnastics area, go-kart track, game room, inflatable park, lego room, computer lab, doodle zone, arts and crafts building, paintball target shooting area, and of course our Humongous Alpine Tower.
