The Dean College Summer Arts Mini-Fest program is a unique opportunity for teens, ages 14-18 years, to gain college-level experience in the fields of classical dance and physical theatre. This is a 2-week residential program, taking place July 17-29 on the Dean College campus in Franklin, MA.

Classes include Styles of Theatrical Movement, Improvisation for the Stage, Ballet, Jazz/Tap and Musical Theatre.

As the only school in the Northeast with both an A.A. and B.A. program in Dance, plus B.A. programs in Arts & Entertainment Management and in Theatre, Dean attracts some of the most talented performance instructors and students in New England. Mini-Fest classes are taught by these same accomplished and talented professionals.

Mini-Fest participants live on the pristine Dean College campus in comfortable, modern and safe student residence halls, where they are supervised by experienced counselors and educators. A commuter option is also available.

The program includes field trips to area theaters and cultural attractions, in addition to the opportunity to learn new skills in dance, performance, theatrical movement and more.

The sessions will culminate with a public showcase performance at Dean College’s new Center for the Arts, a state-of –the-art facility with performance, rehearsal and class spaces.
