Grier Summer
Grier Summer for Girls At Grier Summer we strive to teach girls to reach their potential through friendship, horsemanship and/or creative pursuits, and personnel enrichment. In a three-week session, each camper follows her individual activity schedule for 13 days of the session, including Saturdays and Sundays. On Thursdays, we have special events such as theme days with entertainers. On Mondays campers have field trips to local attractions. Founded in 1975, Allegheny Riding Camp remains a premiere equestrian camp for beginner through advanced riders. Very experienced riders may enroll in our special Show Camper program, traveling to rated horse shows while at camp. Allegheny Camp for the Arts offers a three-week program in creative and performing arts. It includes intensive programs in dance, art portfolio and musical theatre, as well as a wide variety of creative arts including ceramics and pottery, creative writing, drawing and painting, and conversational foreign language
