Hatchets Training Centre
Summer Address:

Hatchets Training Centre was originally conceptualized by three Barrie Rowing Club members, Jeremy Fowler, Jurgen Schubert and Kathy McCarthy. While Jurgen has continued to have a huge impact with the Barrie Rowing Club, Kathy and Jeremy have founded Hatchets Training Centre with its initial location in Minett, Ontario situated between The Rosseau , A JW Marriott Resort & Spa, and Cleveland’s House, a family resort founded in 1883.
Hatchets Training Centre’s main goal
is to grow the sport of rowing through
programs geared towards those both
wanting to develop a life long passion
for a sport, and those looking to compete.
