Each day, participants attend university-level lectures by former Faculty of the Richard Ivey School of Business.  They receive a broad overview of the classroom environment and are provided with a workshop on the university application process.  Throughout the week, participants are able and encouraged to ask questions of the many HBA and MBA graduates that will be in attendance.

How will I apply my knowledge?                    

Participants will work in teams to complete a thorough case-study analysis on a new and emerging business venture.  Upon completion, each team facilitates a formal business presentation that includes the rationale for their recommendations and a detailed financial analysis of the potential profitability of the business.  The presentations are conducted on the final day for a panel that is comprised of professionals from the fields of Investment Banking, Marketing and Sales, Accounting, and Law.

Where and when is the program?

The IXL Academy is held at the University of Western Ontario in London, Ontario.  Students get a taste of college life by living on campus for the duration of the week. Because the program is residential, accepted students must not make any commitments that would necessitate their leaving the campus during the week.
