North America to the unique 2008 LUCHS.

LUCHS serves to provide high-end hockey

instruction by building on the success evidenced

by the #4 nationally ranked LU Men’s ACHA D1

Hockey program. You will learn from skilled LU

players, as they interact with participants on a

daily basis. Excellence, faith, perseverance and

character provide the foundation of our wellrounded

program. With the top-notch facilities

provided at the LaHaye Ice Center, Liberty is a

great place for hockey players to spend a week

in a Christian environment.

Students will gain valuable insights both on and

off the ice through interactions with one another.

Located in the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains

in Lynchburg, Virginia, Liberty is an ideal place to

have a summer adventure as you develop and

enhance your hockey skills, grow in your faith

through learning Godly principles and values, and

make new friends. Swimming, sports, video games

and hiking will round out the activities each day.

Liberty University Christian Hockey School (LUCHS)

is not your ordinary hockey camp. With three

hours on the ice at the LaHaye Ice Center and

participating in Liberty University student life

activities, you will not only gain top-notch hockey

instruction, but also learn skills and strategies

from experienced hockey coaches and former

professional players.

The curriculum at LUCHS is like none other.

Players, coaches, and parents have developed

a curriculum catered to your needs as a hockey

player. Apart from the daily on-ice instruction,

participants will take part in: off-ice conditioning

sessions, video analysis through the Dart Fish

Video software program, team-building activities,

and hearing from special speakers. This program
