Our camp is being set up in a Youth Hostel in an old Fortress (Burg Rabenstein) in Brandenburg, dating back to the fifthteenth century. It is located in the forests of Brandenburg in Eastern Germany not too far from Berlin via the autobahn. Daily sport activities will take place in a rented gymnasium in Dessau. Depending upon campers other activities will include cooking, swimming, cycling, and hiking. At the same time there will be substantial time devoted to traveling the region as well. Berlin is only 1 hour away, Wittenburg Luther City is very close, historic Barouqe Dresden is only 90 minutes away, Leipzig is only 80 minutes away, and the Thuringer Forest is also within easy travel distance. The Thuringer Forest is home to some of the greatest hiking in Europe and there awaits anyone an adventure, no matter where you come from! Special wishes can be accomodated.
