Project Hawai'i Teen Mentoring Adventure Summer Camp program is designed to allow teens a once in a lifetime experience. This 3-fold program includes Teen Mentoring, Cultural Experiences and Hawaiian Adventures. This exclusive program is only open to 24 teens per year.
Community Service Projects: Our teens will work hands on with homeless children and guide them through interactive planned activities during the week from 9A-3P. Teens wil also be able to earn up to 200 hours of community service in leadership, mentoring, curriculum planning and marketing. Because our nonprofit organization is designed to enhance the lives of homeless children, the teens service will be focused on making a difference to last a lifetime. This one of a kind camp allows teens to truly make an impact that will change their own lives as well as their camp buddies.
Authentic Hawaiian Cultural lessons include the art of hula and playing Ukulele, making ti' leaf hula skirts and even the secrets of making lau lau. Other cultural traditions include surfing Waikiki and hiking Waipio Valley to the sacrid black sands beach. Our tour includes the Polynesian Cultural Center and Rainforest Tours.
Hawaiian Adventure Tours: Our Teen Adventures will take the island hops to explore the white sand beaches, swim with dolphins, snorkel the "teens voted" best beach of Hawai'i and other great adventures. Zipline through tropical forests, or sail the Ali'i is a included.
Teens spend their weekends traveling and exploring the islands wonders and hidden treasures, as our directors are native Hawaiians sharing their heritage and aloha.
Join Us for our Project Hawai'i 2011 for a once in a lifetime experience
