DescriptionBack to top

Summer Camp programs at Promenade Stable conist of theroy and hands-on experience.  Students will learn how to safely interact with a horse and learn how to halter, lead, and groom.  The riding skills introduced will include: balance and the proper way to ask a horse to walk, stop , turn and trot.  Riding is done bareback to help students understand balance and a proper seat.  Safety is always empphazised.  After the rider accomplishes these tasks they can then move on to the advanced level to refine their skills even further.  During summer camps, we require students to be dressed in jeans, tucked in shirt and closed toe shoes with a heel.
