The Senior Youth Theatre Conservatory is an exciting summer school program that provides secondary school students with an intensive professional theatre training experience. The only program of its kind in Ontario, successful participants will be awarded both a Grade 11 and Grade 12 Drama in the Community credit (ADC30 & ADC40) towards their secondary school diploma, approved by the Ontario Ministry of Education and administered through The Country Day School in King City. The Junior Youth Theatre Conservatory is an exciting summer school program that provides elementary school students with an intensive professional theatre training experience. Open to students in grades 5 to 8, the Junior Youth Theatre Conservatory is a three-week program that offers 20 students the opportunity to explore the basic elements of theatre and performance. Led by a professional in the field, students will gain confidence in the areas of theatre performance, collaboration, public speaking and creative thinking.
