The Auburn School - Herndon Summer Fun Program
Summer Address:

The Auburn School's Summer Fun Program helps students improve and maintain their social and self-regulation skills in an engaging and supportive environment. Students will practice crucial strategies for making and maintaining friendships through fun activities such as movement, sports, dance, arts and crafts, science experiments, cooking projects, and outdoor play. Each week will end with Fantastic Friday Fun, where students will have the opportunity to participate in a special activity.
Our camp is appropriate for students aged 7--13 who are highly verbal but who may have challenges in the areas of communication, socialization, language, and organization. Students may have diagnoses such as Asperger's syndrome, high functioning autism, or PDD-NOS. Our program is appropriate for students who can learn successfully in a small group setting. We are not able to support students with significant aggression or persistent emotional or behavioral difficulties.
