The Broadway Experience is an international musical theatre program designed to create and inspire triple threat performers. We now present a two week summer program, a three day winter intensive, and international touring. Students will undergo an intense study of dance, voice, and acting, along with a major performance opportunity with current Broadway professionals and incredible master teachers. Students will become stronger, versatile and more dynamic performers, preparing themselves for a professional career at the highest level EXPERIENCE THE FOLLOWING... - Beginning everyday with a thorough warm up - Master classes in many different Broadway dance styles from the golden age of musical theatre up to present day choreography - Dance/song classes - Voice/choral work - Song Interpretation - Acting classes - Monologue work, scene study - Improvisation - Take the first step to actually putting all three mediums together, dancing, singing and acting; hence learning to become what's known as a triple threat - Choreography workshop - In-depth musical workshop - Lecture demonstrations and parent forum - Meet industry specialists such as choreographers, directors & casting associates - Audition study, helping one understand the audition process and how to present oneself - See a Broadway show & Q&A with the cast - A catered lunch is provided every day Special guests have included: Chita Rivera, Bebe Neuwirth, Kristin Chenoweth, Faith Prince, Baayork Lee, Norm Lewis and Karen Ziemba. All students will be required to dance and sing in both the masterclass and audition and should come with sheet music from a Broadway show and be prepared to sing 32-64 bars for their vocal audition. There will even be a chance to win two tickets and a backstage tour to Mary Poppins on Broadway! One name will be randomly chosen following the tour and the winner will be announced.
