About ACE

The Museum of Flight's Aerospace Camp Experience is an American Camp Association (ACA) accredited day camp for the child who is excited about aerospace and aviation! The Aerospace Camp Experience is the recipient of the ACA Gordie Hamilton Award for Excellence in Camping Programming. We have six different programs:

 

          Flight Camp for campers going into grades 1&2

          Aerospace Explorers for campers going into grades 3&4

          Planetary Voyagers for campers going into grades 5-7

            Restoration Camp for campers going into grades 5-8

at the Restoration Center on Paine Field in Everett.

          Advanced Camp for campers going into grades 7-9

          ACE Apprentices a volunteer opportunity for students going into grades 10-12

 

Camp Hours
Sessions run 9:00 a.m. 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Parents, friends, and family are encouraged to join campers on Fridays at 4:00 p.m. for graduation. Restoration Campers will hold graduation at Paine Fields Restoration Center at 4:00 p.m.

 

Extended Care
Offered each morning from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. and each afternoon from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., except on Fridays. Fees are $50 per week, regardless of hours attended. Extended Care campers at the Museum enjoy additional hands-on activities. Restoration Camp Extended Care is held at the Paine Field YMCA.

 

ACE is For Everyone
Campers are welcome at ACE regardless of gender, race, national origin, or religious affiliation. Contact the ACE Coordinator concerning campers with special needs or physical restrictions prior to registration. The Museum of Flight strives to accommodate all children within the constraints of our facility and our programs.
