The Sanford Meisner Studio can trace its lineage to the Group Theater.  It is the only school approved by and working with Sanford Meisner's Estate.  

“There is a lack of really good, serious kid’s classes out there.”  We’ve heard this charge for years 

from parents who have inquired about The Sanford Meisner Studio offering acting instruction for kids like we do for adults.  Now, for the first time, we are going to apply our years of experience training  some of the most successful actors in the Hollywood to classes for teenagers.  The classes will combine our authentic, fundamental technique with instruction in scene work, and improvisation.  The students will have fun, while also developing a real approach and a healthy respect for the craft of acting.  

The class will be taught by The Meisner Studio Artistic Director, Alex Taylor. Alex is one of the last actors to have worked with Sanford Meisner and father of a teen himself. 

Our Summer Teen Intensive Camp begins July 7th and lasts for 6 weeks.

Classes meet Monday through Friday from 1pm to 4pm.
