World Horizons International LLC - Italy
Summer Address:
Rome, Outside the US & Canada, ItalyJoin this World Horizons trip as we travel to historic Rome, Italy to help out at the Hippotherapy Center on the outskirts of the city. Hippotherapy uses the movement of the horse to address a variety of motor and other developmental deficiencies.
Students will be housed in a new building at the center and our project will probably include some construction of new paddock fences, obstacle courses, grounds work and some painting as well as assisting the therapists with their work. What better way to explore the old world of Italy while making an invaluable contribution to children and adults with special needs!
Participants can really make a difference in the lives of individuals who deal with obstacles on a daily basis just to get through the day.
