Since 2007, Write On! Summer Camp has been the ideal experience for nurturing and encouraging the young writer. Each day starts with small group writing instruction where student discover how to keep a writer's notebook, write "small," build up a "hot spot," and other fun revision tools to breather life and excitement into their writing. Students then choose daily from four different writing clubs that explore everything from poetry to song writing to award winning essays to fantasy and other genre writing. Each day, students have the chance to choose from the clubs best suited to their interests. The week also includes visits from professional writers, unique personal publications and our traditional "author's toasting" celebration. It's a one of a kind experience named "Best of the Beehive" by Salt Lake Magazine. It's a week that builds memories, creates friendship and sinpires young writers to continue writing long after the summer ends. Write On!
