Q: What is cancellation insurance?
A: Since each camp has a limited enrollment, most parents enroll their children months in advance to secure a spot. We realize that situations arise (i.e. illness, family emergencies, change of plans, etc…) that may prevent your child from attending camp. Therefore, CampProtector.com, offers a camp cancellation insurance program that will protect your investment and your child.
Q: What is your refund policy?
A: Regardless of the refund policy of an individual camp, if you purchase camp cancellation insurance, and your child cannot attend camp for a medical related reason (see policy for details) then you will receive a 100% refund for any camp tuition fees you have paid. In addition if you purchase the additional “Cancel For Any Reason” coverage
Q: How early before camp starts must I purchase my camp cancellation insurance?
A: Depending when the camp session starts, camp cancellation insurance must be purchased by March 1, or within 30 days of your initial program deposit.
Q: How can I sign up for cancellation insurance?
A: You can sign up for cancellation insurance directly from this site. Follow the link below to begin the registration process. Registering is simple, fast, and easy.
Q: Who underwrites this program?
A: Stonebridge Casualty Insurance Company, Columbus, Ohio; (all states except as otherwise noted) under Policy/Certificate Form series TAHC5000. In CA, CT, HI, NE, NH, PA, TN and TX Policy/Certificate Form series TAHC5100 and TAHC5200. In IL, IN, KS, LA, OH, OR, VT, WA and WY Policy Form #’s TAHC5100IPS and TAHC5200IPS.
Notice: If you are a resident of one of the following states (IL, IN, KS, LA, OH, OR, VT, WA, WY) your coverage is provided on an individual policy form. Your policy number is your complete Name plus 550M. Additional information about your policy is available at www.tripmate.com. You can also request this information by calling Trip Mate at 1-800-888-7292.
