Camp Riverbend

Welcome to Camp Riverbend! We are a day camp for boys and girls, ages 4 through 14, located in Warren Township, NJ.

Our classic program of sports, swimming, crafts and environmental awareness gives each child the opportunity for growth, learning and fun!

Here are the three factors that make Camp Riverbend special:

1. Camp Riverbend's philosophy of "participation, not competition" encourages each camper to take part in every activity, where we honor his or her best effort. There are already so many areas of competition for today's children; our goal is to create an environment that allows children to explore and enjoy their world without artificial pressures.

2. At Camp Riverbend, we endorse the theory that "a camp is only as good as its staff." We are proud of our staff of dedicated teachers and college students. Our counselors know and understand children. Their active and creative participation make our program come alive! We do not have a CIT program; no high school students supervise campers

3. Since its establishment in 1963, Camp Riverbend has been owned and operated by the Breene family. Our founders and directors, Harold and Marianne Breene, and their four children, Roger Breene, Jill Breene Cheng, Paul Breene and Robin Breene Hetrick supervise every aspect of the camp's daily operation and provide exceptional attention to the details of your child's summer!
