| Located in the Berkshire mountains of western Massachusetts, Camp Greylock is among the nation's oldest and most prestigious residential sports camps. We offer advanced sports instruction while emphasizing positive reinforcement and traditional values. Each summer, Greylock is home to over 400 boys ages 6-16 and 240 staff members from across the U.S. and around the world. We focus on individual and team sports, with excellent programs in drama, creative arts, water sports, nature and outdoor adventure as well.
We are currently seeking counselors for our 2009 season. This is an excellent opportunity for a person who enjoys working with children. We are looking to assemble an exceptional group of caring counselors and experienced coaches/instructors to lead our campers. You will take on two distinct roles: both as a bunk counselor and as an instructor in a specific sport or activity area.
Camp dates are June 16th through August 16th, 2009. We offer a competitive salary, a beautiful outdoor work environment, and a great way to spend the summer. Room, board, and travel allowance are also included.
We are looking for coaches in the following areas: basketball, baseball, soccer, flag football, tennis, golf, roller hockey, swimming, waterskiing, sailing, boating, outdoor adventure, electronics workshop, drama, creative arts, woodshop, archery, fencing, and weight lifting.
