Let your kids embark on a DiscoveryArts Camp at the Pacific Conservatory where they will be introduced to music, art and drama. Weekly themed camps are offered and they will enjoy preparing for the Grand Finale Performance every Friday! Kids will learn songs and pair choreography with it for the show. Grow your child's sense of adventure when you take a trip to Talbert Nature Preserve. Nestled between Costa Mesa and the Santa Ana River, the park offers acres of area for recreation. Trek through tall grasses on one of the hiking trails, or travel into the park's rolling dunes and look for wildlife. Venture toward the park's Alluvial Woodland, where creatures of the natural world as well as scenic wooded views are plentiful. Head back to the park's center when the kids are worn out and have a picnic lunch.

Introduce the kids to the performing arts at Segerstrom Center for the Arts. Unleash your child's imagination with one of the live shows targeted to children. Unravel behind-the-scenes mysteries with a backstage tour. Let your little one dig deeper into theater during the center's workshops featuring storytelling, dance, music and more. There's something available for kids of every age at the Segerstrom Center for the Arts.

Nourish your child's understanding of where food comes from at Centennial Farm, a 3-acre working property that treats parents and kids to a glimpse of everyday life on a farm. Wander through the lush fields and orchards where you'll spy growing fruits and vegetables. Learn how oxen help farmers plow a field or check out the livestock. You can hear pigs oink, chickens cluck and see goats kick up their heels as you peruse the venue. Stop by in the spring and baby animals abound. The farm offers guided tours and a variety of special events meant to engage children.
