See the modern side of Salinas at Carmel Academy of Performing Arts, a place where children are free to express themselves creatively and through many mediums. This center has been helping nurture students for the past 60 years and was originally focused on ballet, but now, jazz, tap, hip hop, and musical theater are all featured. For the little ones, there's Mommy and Me, which covers basic ballet and tap, so kids can dance along with their favorite person! For the musically gifted, there are also musical instrument and voice lessons. Students will present two music recitals at the Carmel Academy of Performing Arts Theater.
