Hear the call of tropical birds as you trek through a rain forest, or let your child chug along in the zoo's pint-sized express train. Filled with animals from far-flung regions of the world, this quintessential Chicago experience allows children to see chimpanzees swing from trees and sea lions swish through the water. The zoo combines conservation with carousel rides on its intricately carved and hand-painted endangered animal carousel. Sleep under the skyscraper with family campouts for kids aged 5 to 12, guaranteed to create memories for a lifetime.

Delve into the 4,000 square foot virtual maze at the Navy Pier and discover dozens of surprise-filled twists and turns.
