Magnificent Maine offers amazing adventures for the whole family. Hit the outdoors for inland or seaside adventures, plunge into fun for thrill seekers at amusement parks, or encourage cultural learning at museums.

Inspire your little one's love for lobsters as you check out daily life as a Maine lobsterman. Let kids catch their own at Lucky Catch Cruises, which allows the entire family to bring the ocean to the dinner plate. Take a magical hike along the Marginal Way, where you can adventure alongside the rocky shores and see the treacherous cliffs from the village of Perkins Cove. Sugarloaf Mountain provides tons of action, including wild life spotting, mountain biking, and hiking. Then wade into fun at Mother’s Beach, where your kids will love frolicking in the water as plenty of lifeguards stand watch. Experience the anti-gravity complex, a 20,000 square foot street park complete with a climbing wall, trampoline, skateboard lessons, yoga, and golf lessons. Checkout the weekly kids' activities on the calendar for upcoming excitement!

Give the kids crave a rush at Seacoast Fun Park and take a wild ride on the 100-foot high Sky Swing. Try out the high-speed Hill Slides Tubin' or take a spin on the go-karts and race the kids around the track. For an even more extreme adventure, hook in and hang on at The Tree Tops Trails ropes course. Get a towering glimpse of the park’s panoramic view while zooming down a zip line, or journey through rope bridges and moving ladders while the whole family tests its courage.

Let youngsters get their tiny fingers messy making art projects at the Maine Discovery Museum. Show off their creativity with recyclable materials used for constructing take-home creations, then encourage your child to become a scientist with a hands-on experiment. Visit Fort Knox, which was once used to protect the Penobscot River Valley from British forces. The fort's well-maintained military fortification now allows kids to unleash learning when they run through the base that helped win the Revolutionary War. Portland, Maine's largest city, features the fantastic Portland Observatory, where you'll enjoy a 360 degree view of Portland harbor. Finish off a lovely day as you head up at sunset and watch the sky glow.
