Breathe in the fresh air at Caumsett State Historic Park Preserve, located on a peninsula with miles of paths for biking, jogging, horseback riding, hiking, and even cross-country skiing in the wintertime. These beautiful trails of woodland, meadows, salt marsh, and rocky shoreline once were an English-style estate, hence the well-manicured gardens, as well. Kids can go fishing or take lessons in the polo pony barn. For more historical activities, kids can go to The Whaling Museum and Education Center to learn about the ocean and the artifacts in the museum's collection. The summer and winter camps have fun crafts, exploration stations, and active games.
Make new friends through The Town of Huntington Parks and Recreation summer camp programs.
