Looking for a summer job that will make a difference? For over 130 years, The Fresh Air Fund has been providing underprivileged New York City children with the opportunity to go to summer camp for free. We are looking for dedicated, motivated individuals who want to have a fun, but challenging, summer, while making a difference in the lives of some of New York’s neediest children. As a General Counselor, you will be responsible for providing leadership and guidance to a group of twelve campers at one of our five camps. Specific responsibilities include 24 hour a day supervision of the campers, planning programs, acting as a teaching assistant, and participating in a variety of activities. Camp activities include, but are not limited to, hiking, boating, ropes course, model farm, athletics, and swimming.
