The museum is home to planes that span over 100 years of flight history, including firsts of commercial flying, fighters and bombers from World War II, and the original Air Force One. The Kid’s Flight Zone is the ideal place for children to interact and learn what it takes to control a plane. Kids can test out their piloting skills with hang gliding simulators, and sit in the cockpit and operate several helicopters and planes, while younger ones can play near the mini-air traffic control tower.
Watch as your child's imagination comes to life at the Seattle Children’s Museum. Throughout the entirety of the museum, there are interactive exhibits for your children to enjoy. Kids can express creativity at Fort Adventure by creating clubhouses or tents and building their bigger creations out of LEGOs. Interacting with the play school bus and fire truck, going shopping in the mock grocery store, and travelling the world at the Global Village are great exhibits for children to let their imaginations shape new adventures.
